It’s been a while since I’ve paid attention to tumblr!! Lots and lots of events occurred within the last few months after graduation! Here is a little recap and what’s been on my mind:

South Bay and the city, SF Fashion Week, top seller, princess, emails, networking, SJ Fashion show, adventures, exhaustion, change, connections, blessed, meetings, plans, praise, anxiety, hope.

Moving forward and working hard because it is your passion, is all that I am focused on.

Perfect & Healthy Skin: Eyes, Lips, Face

People have been asking me how I keep my skin so flawless and healthy, so here’s my post on products I recommend & use religiously!

Eyes:

My new favorite make up remover is Lumene, Finland. It is made out of 100% organic linen seed, oil-free (you don’t want that gross oily feeling all over your skin), and made for sensitive skin! The eyes are such a delicate feature of the face, so be sure to use something harmless and filled with less chemicals. I’ve had experiences of eyes swelling and poofyness due to too many harsh chemicals. A big nono for the eyes!

For eye cream, I use StriVectin-SD. Pretty pricey for a small tube but it works like magic.

For make up, I use a too faced lightly colored primer. I only use natural colors because I don’t like the heavy look with my black eyeliner. I wing out my eyeliner all the time, so heavy on heavy is a big X. So, I use the natural palette by Kat Von D. All I use are my fingers, a blend of three colors (pink shimmer, gold, and light brown), from the tip to the crease of my lids. Easy, quick, and super natural looking.

Face:

For cleanser, I use Philosphy. It is so gentle on the skin yet takes off dirt and other pollutants. A huge part of keeping your skin healthy is drinking tons and tons of water, as well as moisturizing it every single day. My favorite product is skin perfecting lotion by Murad. No fragrance, light on skin, and is absorbed very quickly. It is also oil free, so good for sensitive skin and those with oily skin.

I also use miracle skin before applying anything on my face in the morning. It corrects redness, makes skin tone even, and protects your skin from UV with an SPF of 20!

Usually people get surprised when I tell them this, but I use absolutely no foundation. My skin became so even toned and balanced due to taking care of it with the steps above. But, to make my skin look even more perfecting, all I use is pressed powder. My absolute favorite is by smashbox with the color, light beige. Just a few strokes with the brush, and I’m all set. I also love blush, but the one I have been sticking to is too faced. It’s the one with three palettes called leopard love. It’s amazingggg.

Lips:

My lips get chapped constantly on days where I don’t consume a lot of water or dry days. I got a gift from miss royalty of Bali, and immediately fell 100% in love. The product is called Zambeezi, an organic beeswax lip balm made with lemongrass. Smells good, does the job, Hallelujah.

I’m just so happy I have such a great family. Even through the roughest time, when sensitivity is paper thin and emotions are triggered easily, we supported each other all the way. We got each others back, no matter what, and even when the difficulties are overbearing, we will always find a way. I am more than thankful. I am so glad my parents raised my sisters and I to be so respectful and full of love. Never will we tear apart.

Models donned bob cuts hairstyles and had mini Chanel beauty marks on their faces. Key accessories for this collection was oversized hats, fingerless gloves and embroidered bags.

Really?? Ur gonna question me about my career choice when all I have done was dedicated my time effort and every inch of hard work I can put?? u think I will go for some other career? now that just pissed me off so badly. I hate how ppl are always like go for something stable. Even If u don’t like it at least ts stable and u get paid decently. It’s effing stupid. U live ur life half happy, doing mundane work cus u hate it, but it’s stable. Great reasoning? For me, I ain’t settling for no life less than what I have aimed for. Never. And everyone knows how hard I work. And even If it looks like I’m pushing the limits, I can go way beyond that. So don’t ever question me about my career choice. It’s what I love, what I do. Ain’t settling for less. Yes its competitive, but I can be twice as competitive, and u get what u deserve

Drove back to the city right after class and got to hang out with J for a bit! Started out with a drank, then a shopping spree because he deserves more than he knows it!! :D I think im a pretty good stylist, cus he sure looks fly!! :P Only staying at home for tonight, then back to Davis at noon!! Made lots of goodies for my fam and chai masala!! Just to show a little appreciation :))
